Day + 104
Another series of adventures or, perhaps, misadventures... On Sunday morning, I started having double-vision. I've never had that before so it was pretty startling to wake up to. I went through the day thinking it might be related to my head cold, that it might get better as the day wore on or maybe dissipate after a . . .

Day + 97
The bronchoscopy at Kaiser went off without a hitch. Even though I was only mildly sedated, I don’t remember the procedure at all. I didn’t have any throat or nasal soreness afterwards, but I was very wiped out for the rest of the day. The preliminary results of my bronchoscopy did not show any fungal disease in my lungs. On the day of our marriage appointment in San Francisco, we arrived at the Civic Plaza in San Francisco still somewhat ambivalent about whether or not we really needed to go through with this whole . . .

Day + 56
My roller coaster ride continues. Yesterday was a two medical campus day: Stanford in the morning, Kaiser Oakland in the afternoon. My latest labs showed improvement in some important markers including a considerable increase in my platelet count. The docs determined that I could stop taking two of the meds I've been . . .

Day + 48
In my previous posting, I said I'd let you know if anything was going on. Unfortunately, I've developed a bad cold over the past few days. It started out with a sore throat and fever, accompanied by ongoing coughing and a very runny nose. At first, the Kaiser and Stanford docs wanted to send me to the ED (which I used to call the ER), . . .
